This week’s task: Tell us about something you own that is important to you.
It could be a book…a trophy…a diary…a photo…a toy…anything that really means something to you. Look at these examples:
Try and answer these questions within your writing:
What is the object that is important to you?
Describe the object.
Who gave it to you, or where did you get it from?
How long have you had it?
Why is it so important to you?
How would you feel if you lost it? Why?
Writers workshop goal: I can describe my object using a variety of adjectives so the reader can get a clear picture in their minds.
